Jedi Survivor's Recent Patch Promises 60 FPS and New PC Updates

Have you heard of the action-packed video game Star Wars Jedi: Survivor? It was initially hyped up as one of the newest sensations in the gaming industry, but unfortunately, it faced numerous performance-related issues. However, the developers, Respawn and EA, have teamed up again to release a new patch to fix these problems and improve gameplay.

 

This new patch aims to resolve many issues that plagued the game during its launch. One of the significant improvements to this game is the addition of the "60 FPS" in the performance mode in the gaming consoles. The consoles aren't the only platform that received the new updates. The PC also received the latest patch, which will improve and bring stability to the gameplay. Ensure you meet the Jedi Survivor PC requirements, and you can install the patch. 

 

Respawn and EA released Patch 7 on the 5th of September, 2023. They say that the update is available on many of their gaming platforms. The PC, PlayStation, and the Xbox are well represented with the new patch.

 

"Patch 7 for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor arrives today for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X | S," the patch note said. 

What to Expect from the New Patch 

According to Respawn and EA, there are many things to expect from the Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Patch 7. This improvement in the performance of this game primarily applies to the gaming consoles. The developers of this game say users are about to get a feel of performance they haven't seen in the past in the game.

"Performance mode has been completely reworked to improve player experience substantially," the patch note boasted.

The team at Respawn and EA have made significant improvements to the GPU and CPU of the game. They aim to enhance the overall gaming experience by adding 60 FPS in performance mode. Additionally, the developers have disabled Ray Tracing to provide players with a better gameplay experience. The Quality Mode has also undergone optimizations. Previously, gamers experienced some FPS fluctuations, but these issues are expected to be resolved with the Patch 7.

More Improvements to Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

Those using the PS5 to play these games also receive their share of improvements. According to the development team, the PS5 will receive Variable Refresh Rate support to improve gameplay further. Nevertheless, the gaming consoles aren't the only platforms receiving this patch. PC gamers will also benefit. 

 

The game developers have released a patch note detailing various improvements that will be added to the PC gameplay. These include DLSS support and tweaks to the save system to prevent game corruption. Additionally, the patch will address the issue of players being unable to retrieve their XPs in certain situations.

 

Respawn and EA have assured gamers that this issue has been resolved. The patch note concludes with a promise from Respawn and EA to continue working on further updates.
